The University Mailroom is located in the lower level of Francis Hall in room B11. The University receives letters, documents, and packages from the United States Postal Service (USPS), FedEx, United Parcel Service (UPS), and DHL. Residential students, faculty, and departments are assigned campus mailboxes. These mailboxes are available to you during the hours of Francis Hall 6AM – 9PM.
If you have trouble with the combination on your mailbox or forget your combination, please stop by the University Mailroom Office in room B10 with your Student ID and request help.
All resident student mail is normally delivered to student mailboxes by 11AM on weekdays. There is no delivery on Saturdays and Sundays. Recipients are notified they have an oversized package through their student email account. Recipients will show their email to the mailroom personnel during mailroom hours to claim their package in room B10. PLEASE NOTE: PACKAGES THAT FIT INSIDE THE MAILBOX WILL NOT BE EMAILED. It will be the student’s responsibility to check their assigned mailbox. Resident students having difficulty receiving mail should notify the Mailroom.
If you will be receiving a package that needs refrigeration, such as medicine, please contact the University Mailroom and leave your phone number so they can contact you for pick up. If you will be having flowers or perishables delivered to you, please have a cell number listed on the slip to be called for pick up.
Other services include purchasing postage stamps and mailing packages that weigh less than 20 pounds. The mail/package must mail to a US address, no international out of this office. Cash and personal check is accepted. There are two ATM’s on campus located in the CAFETERIA and the HEALTH AND FITNESS CENTER.
If you have any questions about your mailbox or mailing, please contact Shane Wingerter, Mail/Copy Center Coordinator at 217-228-5267 or mailroom@132072.com.
